“We live in a global world where it seems like everything is available at the click of a button,” the Mexican artist Gabriel Kuri said in 2014. He more recently said, “There is no world without numbers and economics, and any effort to deny it simply fails.” Kuri strips the world into its most mundane elemental and economic components, working with materials like paper, plastic, and metal to comment on mass production, consumer culture, and commercialism. On view are over 60 works, including pieces produced specifically for this exhibition. —J.V.
