Coyoacán, the Bohemian enclave where Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera once fussed and frolicked, is now home to Diego Maroto, a fluent post-bop saxophonist who plays rock, pop, and Latin, too. On Thursday nights, he welcomes the city’s coolest gatos—those savvy enough to sign up on his Facebook page and knock on the unmarked door—into his abode for soirées with some of Mexico’s best players. This time, the host’s own trio is featured. —E.E.
