“I think I’ve not done so bad in my life for the last 64 years,” David Hockney said in 2018. “Every day I’ve done what I want to do.” And what he’s wanted to do is look at people and places and things, look and draw and paint. This is the first major exhibition in over 20 years to explore Hockney’s drawings, approximately 150 works from the 1950s to the present day. —L.J.
