  allows them to collide and create matter. More than 2\,000 years later\, 
 the French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot has drawn on that idea at the
  Park Avenue Armory\, where she’s transformed the vast hall into a sonic
  meditation space. The center of the room holds a pool of water in which w
 hite ceramic bowls drift with the current and gently chime when they touch
 . The only sound in the room comes from their movement. Because no sequenc
 e of collisions is ever repeated\, each visit offers a unique sonic experi
 ence. In a city defined by constant motion\, clinamen offers a rare space 
 for stillness and reflection.
