DESCRIPTION:Sep 23\, 2026 - Jan 17\, 2027\nPaul Cézanne once described art
as “a harmony parallel to nature.” Gauguin\, Matisse\, Picasso\, Mond
rian\, Joan Mitchell\, Bridget Riley\, and Peter Doig all studied his work
closely\, though they came away from it with very different ideas. A new
exhibition at the Grand Palais looks at Cézanne alongside the artists he
influenced. Organized with the Centre Pompidou and the Musée d’Orsay\,
it brings together nearly 180 works\, moving from Cézanne’s landscapes\
, still lifes\, and portraits through more than a century of painting that
  followed.
