“As I grew up,” wrote John James Audubon, “I was fervently desirous of becoming acquainted with Nature.” Woodson Art Museum’s annual exhibition “Bird in Art,” now in its 44th year, acquaints viewers with birds from around the world and also bird artists from around the world. Britain’s Alan Woollett, who works in colored-pencil, is this year’s master artist. Child-friendly events abound. —L.J.
