 o\, Sara Baras\, Olga Pericet\, Manuel Liñán\, Israel Galván: you might
  expect one or two of these outstanding dancers to headline a festival\, b
 ut all of them\, day after day? For flamenco puro—traditional\, which me
 ans histrionic—try Farruquito\, who began his career at his father’s s
 ide and remains\, in middle age\, coltish\, outlandish\, and ballsy. For e
 xperimentation\, Galván is as angular (a Cubist painting incarnate) as Pe
 ricet is sinuous\, while crossdresser Manuel Liñán subverts flamenco mac
 hismo with sincerity and flair. Most of the 10 dance offerings (there are 
 also many guitar and song sessions) are world premieres.
