Until
Victoria and Albert Museum / London

A new exhibition celebrates bags over the centuries, with highlights that include a 16th-century burse for the Great Seal of England, a mid-20th-century dowry bag, a 1910 Lemière opera bag—contents included—and a purple sequined “baguette bag” by Fendi, circa 2000. —J.V.
