The LongHouse Reserve has hidden the art instead of displaying it. For a second year, LongHouse—a 16-acre sculpture garden—is hosting a scavenger hunt. Art foragers will receive a set of clues and a map to hunt for sculptures tucked among the greenery. Hidden works include delicate anemone sculptures by Robin Gianis and whimsical small-scale statues by Scott Bluedorn. There’s also work by the Hamptons-based artists Chelsea Hyrnick Browne, Saskia Friedrich, and Mamoun Friedrich-Grosvernor. Participants who post their findings on Instagram or Facebook will be added to a pool of names from which the LongHouse will draw winners. These lucky few will get to take their found art home. However, the permanent collection—including sculptures by Willem de Kooning and Yoko Ono—is not up for grabs. —J.D.
