It’s human nature to cling to the illusion that our species is immortal and that our imprint on this earth will last forever. In the online viewing room “Armageddon,” the artists Oliver Laric, Louise Lawler, and Sara VanDerBeek—all of whom use historical sculpture in their art—offer works that reflect on the recent pandemic. —E.C.
