For anyone who loves dance, it’s one of the coolest places in the whole wide world. For dance writers and researchers its Mecca. We’re talking about The Jerome Robbins Dance Division, located at Lincoln Center, in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. The Division is celebrating its 75th year and riches are coming out of the vaults: diaries and paintings by Vaslav Nijinsky; Agnes de Mille’s costume from Rodeo, Salvador Dali’s set designs (rejected!) for Romeo and Juliet at Ballet Theatre, and much more. —L.J.
