An Exhibition for Notre-Dame

Gagosian / Paris / Art

As Notre-Dame burned, ashes of medieval spires on the wind, the globe was bound in grief. With restoration costs looming, the Gagosian hosts a special exhibition made up of art donated by celebrated artists and gallerists, and including work by Takashi Murakami, Patti Smith, Balthus, and Cindy Sherman. Proceeds go to Notre-Dame’s reconstruction. —C.J.F.
