Heat has been on everyone’s mind during 2021’s scorching summer, whether one is out under the burning sun or indoors listening to the air conditioner. Reflecting on the warming planet and the rising mercury, Mexican artist Sofia Táboas has selected 35 works from Museo Jumex’s collection—photographs, sculpture, videos, and installations that treat heat as an inescapable force. —E.C.
