Since coming to prominence in recent years, the Argentine artist Ad Minoliti has rocked the art world with bold geometrical visions that nod to South America’s tradition of abstract painting. Populated by vaguely figurative, distinctly mod shapes, their canvases have the energy and brash color of a comic strip or cartoon. Pieces from Minoliti’s ongoing project The Feminist School of Painting (a bi-weekly workshop), as well as a “library” of feminist literature and zines, are part of the exhibition, creating an atmosphere of both education and fantasy. This is Minoliti’s first solo show in the U.K. —E.C.
